Almudena Casas (Cadiz, 1971) is a young Spanish artist who combines, with creativity and originality, painting and photography in her works.
Almudena Casas has a degree in Fine Arts from the University Complutense of Madrid. In 2000, she attended a drawing course at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. The following year she participated in a painting workshop with Eduardo Arroyo at the Contemporary Art Center of Galicia. She completed his training in 2010 with a digital photography workshop at La Petit Ecole.
Throughout her career she has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Madrid, La Coruña, Segovia, Guadalajara, Paris and the U.S. She has been awarded with the second prize in the Painting Competition of Aldeasa and a grant from City of Alcobendas.
